I am no numbers hero. In fact, I got a D+ in Calculus my freshman year in college. I think the plus was for my winning smile. Or for raising my hand one day. Or for stopping by office hours and causing the TA to pity my lack of higher math comprehension.
I thought I could use this blog as a way to plot out my goals, keep track of progress and pass along some musings on writing, running, baking or life in general.
When I’m not blogging, I’m a freelance writer. I write education and community Q&A columns for my local newspaper and stuff about parenting or towns or artists or whatever is needed for other publications. To all who have checked out any of my columns, essays or stories, thank you for reading!
I have nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award. Check it out at:

Happy Birthday Fellow Blogger! You have a wonderful blog. I hope you enjoy this day with the people who make you happiest!
Thanks, Josh!
Anne, I wanted to let you know that I have included you in a blog post for tomorrow. The idea is to bring my blog audience to you. I think my readers would also enjoy your blog. I hope you have an opportunity to tell us about your work in progress.
What is your working title of your book (or story)?
Where did the idea come from for the book?
What genre does your book fall under?
Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
Who or what inspired you to write this book?
What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
Thanks for thinking about me, Elizabeth! I appreciate it. I may just refer readers to an earlier post I did so I don’t bore anyone… but I’ll have to check out your post to find out more about your WIP. Always good to hear about other writers’ processes…
